Here is a link I came across tonight....this is the new phone usage system for the South Dakota DOC. Click on the "chart" link at the bottom of the page, and you will see the price difference before and after....staggering!

The only reason other DOCs probably wouldn't follow suit is $$$.....they want to fleece us for all they can.

Phone rates in IL are TOO HIGH! For 1 collect phone call from Ron it costs me $10.25, that's about .34 cents a minute. IL needs to do something.

I pay 80 cents a minute! I would jump at 34 cents!
