I write a man there and we madly fell in love. He is innocent and I am trying to help him out there - a fight against windmills.
If anybody is out there, who has also one there and lives in Arizona, please contact me. I plan visiting my sweetie this year.
We both write three to four times a week - first it was meant to be a friendship and then I realized that I have hooked up with an unbelievable sweet man. Sometimes it makes me sad, but this won't help him and then I feel how much sunshine he too brought into my life. He calls me his angel. First I didn't know how he meant that. I am quite a feminist woman :-).
And now it turned out to be a confident and close relationship. I can feel him around all the time.

Well thats great. I've had lots of close friends on death row myself. If you ever want to talk please feel free to e-mail me through my profile. I know sometimes it just helps to have someone to just listen.
Love,
Trinity

Hi Trinity,
nice to hear from you. Tell me, why are you writing to death row inmates? Many people wonder why I do that and cannot understand this. They say it's hopeless or to painful or to much time...
I think that's just excuses. I like writing and well, this man is so special. He is unique and really understanding me as he feels understood too.
We have a magical connection.

You are not alone. I am in love with a man on DR in Florence and he is the most amazing man I have ever met. Nobody understands how I can be so completely devoted to him. It all started with just wanting to be friends. I love writing letters and found his name in a magazine. After about 12 years we are still writing only we have fallen in love. I find it hard sometimes though. The thought of losing him to the sate of Arizona scares me more than I could ever explain to where most would understand. I am always asked why I fell in love with him. I ask them why they love who ever they are with. He is a man just like the man they have in thier life. Anyway, it is wonderful seeing I am not alone...and maybe someone does understand...
