I'd actually like to know how does one on parole get off of parole and become a regular citizen again? My husband says his max date is July 2003.

Here in Mississippi they are given discharge papers from their PO and told "see ya." The discharge papers have a gold seal on it and most people around here call it their gold seal. "Got my gold seal and I'm outta here."
