Has anyone heard?

From the bits and pieces I have been able to glean, is it possible that he had a lower abdominal aortic aneurism?

I've been phoning his ex (who used to be a friend of mine) but there's either no answer, or the answering machine is full.

Lower abdominal aortic aneurisms are VERY RARE, EXCEPT in a small region of Sweden, and the Ottawa Valley. They've been studying these two regions for years, as they think it's inherited from some ancestor a few hundred years back. And Gord is from Orillia...

How many kids does Gord have now, do you know? Fred, Ingrid, Eric, Miles, Meredith... any others? (Did you know that Gord's middle name is Meredith? He hates it!)
