Hi everyone!
I saw someone's post for meeting people in upstate SC, but I am in the southern part of the state, near Hampton and I would love to meet some people in my area with prison related interests. It's hard to meet people, especially in my area of SC that feel the same way I do regarding the prison system!

:) I'm Betsy, from Barnwell. My husband is in Walden, which is a Level 1 yard. It's in Columbia.
He has already done time in Level 2 yards, both Allendale, and Kershaw, but has earned a re-classification, to a level 1, for good behavior.
Walden is a pretty nice place, as Prison's go... But he gets to work everyday, outside, and we have nice visitation, where we can sit outside at picnic tables, or walk & hold hands..
Or sit in the visitation trailer, and talk, play games, or just hold hands...
Anyway, if you'd be interested in getting together maybe every other week, in Barnwell one week, & then in Hampton for our next visit, we can plan something like that.
Yes, we all need support, and someone to talk with who we can relate with!
I have a few friends here in Barnwell, whose husbands were in Allendale, with mine.
Anyway, write me, and maybe we can get together for supper at a resturaunt or somewhere.
