Hey Girls ! Okay I need some help !! My man and I are going to go ahead and get married . He is in Lnasing east . I have all my marriage papers . I think they are filled out right lol but as you know I have to get the marriage license and also find a Rev . The thing is I live in Oklahoma all this has to be done in Kansas and I dont even know where to start ! Can any of you help me ? Do you all know of anyone who can marry us ? Im so freaked out right now I have to have all this done by the 31st and back to them so we can go to the next marriage classes in Aug ! Also and this might sound stupid but I was reading here it says I can have two witnesses and up to 5 guest but it says the guest must be eligible on inmates visiting list . Does that mean the witnesses do to ? Anyway if any of you can tell me anything that would be great I am so confused , worried whatever about this . Also if any of you have gotten married while your man was in can you tell me what to expect ? What was it like ? He only has until Nov left locked up so do you think I am doing the right thing or should we wait until he is out ? Help please ~:)

well we got married way b4 my hubby got locked up so idk how it all really works or anything but i was curious if mabe u talked to the prison where ur mans at and asked them if the chaplen or w/e he is could marry u guys? .. if that doesnt work out i would honestly just call around to churches and see who would do it. im sure theres someone who would do it for u even if u wasnt part of their church, just call around where ur mans located at, and dont worry about "stupid" questions bc ur not the first to not know what to do lol.. i kno i was kinda clueless to how the process goes period with just having a civil ceremony lol.. and as for if u should wait or not, i think its totally up to the both of u, and how u feel. is there a specific reason why u guys didnt wanna wait til after he gets out?
either way tho, if its what you both truely want and cant wait for and wont regret not waiting later then go for it ya kno.. as long as u both r happy and in love :)

I think that it is great that you want to get married. Personally, if I had only to wait for 4 months to have an actual wedding with as many people as I wanted and to have photos that were taken not in prison, I would wait the 4 months. Although, we are looking at 7-life sentencing so 4 months to me seems like a blessing! Good luck to you both. Congrats too!

So its been kinda a crazy time for me ... but I did finally get a number of someone who might beable to marry us so thats good !! But gosh the more I think about it the more I wonder if I should wait ! I love my man very much but 4 months is not to long to wait we have wait 4 years whats another few months right ?? I can't help but to be alittle upset my family and freinds cant be there .And all the things im missing out on like him helping me plan the weeding and picking out our rings toghther . But on the other hand I dont care about that stuff Just being married to him.... Him being locked up has'nt been easy but hey you all know about that right ... And oddly the closer it gets the harder it seems to me . I feel like I could lose my mind any day now .LOL but thank you all for kinda being my support and telling me what you think and would do .Your awsome !!
