Well finally my man is supposed to be off non contact visits and theres a very good possibility we can see him this sunday!! hes a phase 1 so he only gets four hours so i'm wondering what time i need to be there if i plan on doing 12-4 visit? also for quarters do they have to be rolled? how strict are they with dresscode? any info would be greatly appreciated! i havent seen him in person since the end of august 2008 so im super nervous and excited...feeling so many emotions! :D

:Dhow exciting. Ok the clothes be appropriate and it will be ok. DOn't wear the colors that they state in the policy. The quarters, no, we use a clear zip lock, they said clear container so thats what we came up with. The time id think by 12 but remember you have to go through the searches. My loved one is in a different unit but im doing my best to help. lol.... so im sure we will get it all together in just a bit when others reply as well.

Depends on the unit.. I dealt with Cheyenne and Dakota . I got there around 1130-1145 to get on the van to go to the unit. They stick close to dresscode rules, quarters usually in a ziplock sandwich bag. don't forget your ID, and one key and either key bopper-thing or second key for doorlocks-no key chains. you take your shoes off, you pull out your pockets, really once they get to know you and you have the routine down..second nature :( any other q's you can pm me if you want

Well visitation staff is slacking and they still havent changed his status from non contact to contact even tho he already went up for review and has paperwork sayin they are re-instated we have to wait till visitation updates their info ugh so i cudnt go 2day but i will be callin everyday next week so that i can see him next wkend for sure!!!! :d

Good luck at your visit when it becomes contact! I visit my husband in the Dakota Unit they are really strict (with us at least) when u see him make sure you guys aren't having any physical contact cause if the Sargent see's you he'll end the visit right there. :( Some guards say you can hold hands some are just straight out dicks the suspended his visits for 3months no call or visit then whenhe gets it back its gonna be non contact for 6 months :(.... so just becareful and watch what you do it's hard to keep your hands off them when you haven't seen him in a long time. :( bout the dress code the shirt has to be up to your collar bone and shorts and skirts have to be knee lenght the quaters in some kind of clear bag: clear make-up bag, zip lock baggie, just anything thats clear.. if your going to the 2nd block visit be there around 11:30 cause you have to get searched then fill out a visitation form then it takes them like 15+ minutes to bring them out. DON'T FORGET YOUR ID! Good luck hope you have a good visit! :)
