I read one of the threads about downatate, alot of good info, thanks to everyone for that(I'm so glad I found the site), but i have a few more questions. How far is the drive from NYC?
My husband said I can't mail him cigarettes, i have to bring them as a package on a visit, is this true? Could this be true for all facilities, with all the new smoking laws - one never knows.
One more - I never visited with my daughter (it's his daughter also), what do i have to bring for her as far as ID? what can i bring in the visit room? SHe's 3 & still in pull up diapers.

The drive is about 1 1/2 hours; best to get there early to avoid the long line especially on weekends. Call the facility directly (845-831-6600 ) regarding packages & your daughter.

You will need to bring your daughters birth certificate with you.
