Well my mans prison has been on lockdown since Thursday, my question is -
Are they still allowed to send mail and receive mail???

Yes they can recieve mail and send mail out.

My guy is in IN he was just on lock for a couple of days - he could send and receive mail - I send out a letter everyday - I know somedays he told me he didn't receive any and the next day he would get two or three - I know this lock down bit really sucks - especially when you are waiting by the phone for a call that doesn't come or going for a visit that they won't allow - they should post it on their website or something - just a thought.

yep,they're still in their cells and aloud to write,and if the cO's arent being dumb then they'll mail the letters out that they give to them..
