As signing up as members of the PTO we have already accepted the code of conducts and the recent hostily in here leaves me with no option but to address the issue. We the Indian people have no exclusive right to this forum and although things occurs as offensive we have yet to see that none have done it intentionally, said it is done in ignorance and while being a group for people to support each other I for one find it way outta line that some rush off and judge others instead of reaching out a hand in order to help and shed light into the cause of the people. Anger is not the tool, the ones who speak in anger speak from a clouded heart and therefore cannot be constructive. We have every right to protect our ways but in order to build bridge then it is better to explain why instead of putting people down. Yes the land was stolen, all reaties broken, many people massacred and put in reservations in wastelands but it doesnt mean that it gives any person a right to put down any other here. So I call upon you all to conduct yourself with respect and rather explain in a good way why it is offensive and why you dont want to sell out your ways so the good environment from everyone regardless of gender, origin and beliefs will be retstored.'

I have been going thru old posts, this little forum was once waaaaaaay more active and supportive of each other...As i read this last post from a member who's account has been closed I wonder what happened and why so many members no longer post. I want them to know they are missed and we would welcome their input and their sharing

Some have spoken of a hostility that existed here. Perhaps that was the reason for your drawing away from the NA forum. I myself have bnot seen any negativity here, although when we speak of our history and tell our stories perhaps some would find that disconcerting. It is not meant to be...it is a way for us to keep our traditions, ancestors and stories alive. In the past, these things that are part of us would have been kept alive in growing in an oral tradition...and indeed they still are. but in this more modern world, our families, in order to prosper in this world may have had to move away from the community. It seems necessary to me to use modern technology to keep us all close. It is also up to us to use it in a way that anyone reading it can take away, in an honorable way, at least a little piece of who we are.

I'll continue going thru these older post, bringing as many as i can to the forefront, and also merging them with existing posts.. Many of thier posts are pertinant to our lives today and members still posting and new members I hope will take the time to read through some of them

I will also be contacting some of thes members that no longer post and ask them to check us out again.

I sincerely hope to see some of our members who no longer post checking the NA forum out, again and offering me as the forum leader who advixe, critisism and guidance.

I am working for you, and I am honored to serve this community in any way I can...
