Got a letter from my baby in Estes today and he said they are getting phones!! Does anybody have any info on this b4 i get too excited?

yes all of the TDCJ units are getting phones. Some of the units are up and running but they should all be up by September

I was at Estes Saturday, but since R.G. is coming home early July, he is not concerned about the phones and never talks about them. Sorry. I will ask him about them and see what he knows.

My brother is also in Estes. They have phones right there in the dorm that they can call you from. You will have to go the website texasprisontalk or call 1-866-806-7804 to register your phone number! It's free for both the inmate and yourself which is great. It's rather easy and definitely worth the effort. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
