Buddy, I can not give you an example of what it looks like. Sorry, but it's been 3years since I wrote one. I can only give you tips from what I've heard and learned.

. Make it short and sweet! Short like 1/2 a page or 3 very short paragraphs. They will skim these letters, so get to the point quick.

Do not talk about his crime (innocense or quilt) they don't care because that's not what their role is. Basicly they want to know what type of support system does the offender have, employment possibilites, housing & where that is.

I see that your son is in IFI at Newton. GREAT! The success rate of IFI is impressive and the facts of that are undesputed. This will show the PB that he is serious and that whatever you say in the letter will match what he is doing.

I also meant to say God's blessings on your son as he learns what IFI is all about and God's strength and blessing on you and your family as you go through this.
