Hey, one more question, besides directions. Im riding with someone who also has a boyfriend out there that is friends with my fiancee, but she doesnt get off work til late so we wont be able to leave til around 5 am...which means we wont get there til about 1pm..does anybody know if their will be any problems when it comes to waiting, etc. When i went the first time we were there at like 8 am so once they checked the cars everything went smoother...I just want to know if goin later, if neccessarily a bad thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I go early in the mornings and that is when it seems like everyone is trying to get in. I get a special visit because I live so far away. And when I leave for the most part there is not as many people waiting later in the day. It really just depend on how many people decide to visit that particular weekend.

I am just curious if anyone knows if they really did start visits back up May 9th & 10th?? I plan on leaving to go to Texas In a couple of weeks. I know when I call to request my special visit they will tell me then if visitation is still cancelled. But I was just curious if anyone has been to a visit since May 9th @ Telford. I just can not help but wonder. I just hate calling up there no more than I have too. Thanks for any info anyone has!!

i think it would go more smoothly getting there later. ive been there a couple times n the afternoon and it went smoother for me then getting there so early.

I am one that usually gets there at 7am. But everyone is right
when I get finished there is not usually a line at all. Getting
there late would be fine. Telford went on lockdown last
friday and will be on lockdown for probabbly 3 more weeks.
But visitation and mail still happens.

Yes, I went up there on the 17th and got a four hour visit. We got there a lil after 11...and it actually went a whole lot smoother than gettin there right at 8.

when i visit a telford & i request for special visit, i live in bama. I know they do not allow a special visits on holiday weekends. But does anyone know if they will allow special visits on the weekend of the july 4th. I know i can't get a special visit on like father's day weekend. But i called telford and they were not for sure. So, i am in limbo cause i have to prepare way in advance to get a room there. And for some reason lately they are short on rooms...... Thanks alot!!

I dont think they will give special cisits for the the weekend of the 4th of July. i tried to get one last year when my husband was at Segovia and was told nope... cause of the holiday.

Thanks!! I appreciate it. But what is crazy I called and asked them. They said that they had special visits Memorial Day weekend. I know my opinion does not change a thing. But it would seem to me that most people would not be visiting that weekend and out doing other things. But thanks again!!
