WELL YOU WANTED TO BE A PART OF THE MOVEMENT AND NOW YOU ARE. WE WILL BE MARCHING FROM DOWNTOWN MONTGOMERY AT COURT SQUARE TO THE STEPS OF THE STATE CAPITAL ON SEPTEMBER 21ST AT 12 NOON. I NEED YOU AND ALL FAMILY MEMBERS OF INMATES TO BE IN MONTGOMERY,ALABAMA ON THAT DAY. THIS IS ONE OF THE LAST OPPORTUNITIES WE WILL HAVE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BEFORE THE ELECTION. WE WANT TO FLOOD THE STREETS AND THE CAPITAL STEPS. WE STUNG THEM WITH THE MEETING BUT THEY ARE EXPECTING THAT WE WILL GO AWAY. WE HAVE TO SHOW THEM THAT WE LOVE OUR LOVED ONES AND WE ARE TIRED OF THEM BEING TREATED LIKE ANIMALS. WE WILL HAVE SOME SIGNS BUT PLEASE MAKE ONE ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND IF YOU LIKE. I NEED YOUR HELP IN GETTING THE WORD OUT AND STRESSING THE IMPORTANCE OF POWER IN NUMBERS. IF WE PACK THE STEPS THE GOVERNOR HAS TO ACT ON SOME OF THE RECENT LEGISLATION BEFORE THE ELECTION. WE HAVE TO TIE HIS HANDS. PLEASE NOTIFY THE CHURCHES AND MEDIA IN YOUR AREA. IF ANYONE HAS A LOVED ONE IN AN ALABAMA PRISON THEN SEPTEMBER 21ST THEY NEED TO BE IN MONTGOMERY WITH A SIGN IN THEIR HANDS. WE HAVE TO REMIND THE GOVERNOR THAT THEY CANNOT VOTE, BUT WE CAN.

A GOOD WAY TO GET THE WORD OUT IS TO MAKE FLYERS AND TAKE THEM TO THE PRISONS ON VISITING DAY. WE CANNOT GET OTHERS TO HELP US IF IT LOOKS AS IF WE DO NOT CARE OURSELVES

I will be here and I urge each and everyone to come and march with us.. Let's give our inmates a voice in Montgomery. Let's give them Hope and encouragements and let them know that we are here for them. If it is visiting day, I'm sure that they guys would be will to do without a few hours if this could make a difference. Also let me ask this.. why can't you go visit for an hour that day you could and then make it in time for the march. Its election year here in Alabama and they need to know who will vote them in office, come let your voices be heard
