i have a friend that might be going to prison for Statutory Rape and i was wondering if anyone would know: if he did get charged with it how long would he get. Please i really did to know. Thanks a bunchs

samantha, it depends on the circumstances. can you be more clear on the details. a lot depends on different things. the age of the offender, the age of the victim, the circumstances in which the "crime" occured. was there drug or alcohol involved. how long did the two know each other? in oregon, statutory rape isn't statutory rape. it's rape. the circumstance will determine whether it is rape 1, 2, or 3. those factors will determine the sentence. when you say he might be going to prison, what do you mean. has he been charged. is he in jail? how do the "victims" parents feel about the circumstances. let me know, and i will share what i can.

Minimum of 15 months jail time. More depending on the degrees.

he'll probably get out sooner than that though. more like 12 if he has time served, and if he doesn't get any dr's
