Hi people.
Somebody started a thread on another forum about solitary confinement, and I chimed in with my ten months out of fifteen while in Kosuge. A link to this forum was posted and here I am, delving into those old buried memories.
I was there from 1990 to 1991 until I was acquited (oh yeah, I beat that 99.8% conviction rate by fighting the good fight). I received £35,000 in compensation, an amount not even remotely comensurate with the cost of what they put me through...but hey, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. :D
I went by the name of Sigrun Falkinn back then, in case by some extraordinary chance there's anyone here who might remember. I managed to kick up quite a storm, in both the domestic and foreign press/TV, both while I was still in and much more after I was released. I like to think it might have made some difference to the conditions inside.
Anyway, I guess that'll do by way of an intro.:)
