The Door

Your toothbruch lies
there untouched..

Your razor is
collecting dust...

Your jacket, keys, and your shoes
I wait for you to come and use...

But still they lie
just as before...
I longing look
towards the door...

In the drawers
your clothes lay..
While alone in the dark
I think and pray..

Our pillows lie lonely
next to eachother..
I hope you know
there will never be another..

I take your shirt
and breathe it in...
Oh, how I long
to touch your skin..

But soon the days
will fly by..
I will open the door
and look in your eyes..

Alone your things
will no longer be..
You'll be there waiting
with a kiss for me.
