From everything that I have read, one very necessary step to the parole review process is the IPO interview. I've even read that when the IPO interview takes place, that is the time to start sending in support letters. A lady (TDCJ review/release) told me the other day on the phone that an inmate does not necessarily have to have an IPO interview during the parole review process. Is that right?
