I'm kicking off this arrival and update thread so all of us who have made it in town for the conference can let each other know they have arrived and where to meet up..

I was in Houston earlier today but had to run back home to College Station to pick up some more things.. I probably won't be back in until 8-9 tonight but I know Rachel, MoMo (Maureen), Patty and a bunch of others are already at the hotel and in the meeting room. Drop in and say Hi..!

I look forward to meeting everyone tonight and tomorrow, and Sunday if you refuse to leave. ;) Let us know when you get there and what you are up to!

I so wanted to come, but am stranded in Tucumcari, NM due to the third Freeway closure today, and the roads won't be open again until tomorrow morning. It is still snowing, and there is no way I'm going to make it in time. I am so bummed, was looking forward to this since it was announced last year! Of all weekends, it had to pick this weekend to drop a major snowstorm! (last weekend was 70's!) wanted to send my regrets and say there will be one less for dinner Saturday night.

Ok, here is a roll call: Me, Jonathan, Patty, David, ItsAllNew, Dkiss, Mamajmg, Dillonswife, Katybee, JessnKat, Joshiesmom, Ben'sgirl, Patty, Momo, kennykamm, karengrovo, erm...... got a bit tiddly on the sweet sherry so have forgotten everyone else.

We all had a super night and raised a few glasses to absent friends.

I wanted to say thank you for allowing us that was not able to attend, to be able to view this one "tv" "live cam"

It was great to see so many faces that I have known for so many years. To put a face with the name was just awesome. :)
