I will be visiting Robertson for the first time. Could anyone please give me ideas for hotels that are not too far from the unit. Or if you could recommend a hotel that is close to eating places, the mall, etc. I just don't know my way about Abilene and don't want to get lost! Thanks!

I stayed at the whitten inn....it's cheap and clean. and it's barely 10 mins away from robertson. :)

If you have a little extra cash,definitely stay at the comfort suites right off the highway, stayed there last weekend and the heated pool was awesome, rooms are huge, and customer ser. was excellent, they also have a continental breakfast that will throw anyone off a diet.

Just before you get into Abilene, about half hour, (right this minute I forgot the name of the town) there is nothing but motels on both sides of the higway (I-20) and if you get off on the main exit, turn left, go under the over pass- -nice clean place, free breakfast, with a pool, for half the price of ALL the other ones around there.
You will be about 35 minutes top from the unit, from that motel.

If you don't have any extra money you can stay at the hospitality house, its directly across from Middleton which is right next to Robertson. It's free and they feed you! Theres no TVs in the room or a swimming pool but it's safe and free. I use to stay there everytime time I spent the night in Abliene.

Hi, I go to Robertson unit often and stay at the Hospility house across the street from the units. And its free, It is ran by Christian people. There is a huge kitchen. You can eat/ fix anything there you want. I really re -ccomend it. There number is 325-548-2180....i hope this helps. Kristi
