Does anyone know how to go about finding about info in tutwiler,my sister was just sent in Feb. They told her in county she got 10yrs,down there she was told 20 so how do we find out for her up here on this end, we feel so helpless.

You may have better luck if you go to the Forum for you state!! Thats a huge gap of sentencing. Can you go to the DOC website and look it up?

The warden's number is 334-567-4369. I can usually get good info from them as long as you're nice. Also, ((www doc state al us/inmatesearch asp )) is a link you can go to and search by ais # or name... ((I cannot post links yet so just put it all together ;) add a dot after all spaces)) also they show release date. If it doesn't match up I suggest calling the warden... again, play nice and they are pretty helpful... inside it's b/s but hey. Good luck!

Yes everyone must remember - they are in charge and ALWAYS be nice and polite, it makes a difference on info you get and also on your loved ones stay.

if you look on the doc website you can find out her release date. if you don't know her ais# you can look it up by her name. i would suggest writing down her ais# because it has to be on all of her mail you send her. i hope this helps!

She should have been given a piece of paper from the court with her end of sentence (EOS) date. But, I would check with the court from which she was convicted. it is public information and you should either call the court clerk, call her attorney or write to either one of them.
