My sister got in trouble. So.. I could've sworn I'd read it somewhere but doesn't that mean her visiting gets suspended for a specific amount of time? I live in Texas and have already set up arrangements to go and visit in June!! Any help?

It depends on what kind of trouble and punishment. I believe that if she was put into segregation that there is no visitation. I would suggest calling the wardens office and asking if visitation will be allowed, as the segregation has an end date. Go to the website for the Alabama Department of Corrections and read the administrative regulations regarding visitation, segregation, etc, and then call the main Tutwiler number. There are some pleasant people working in the warden's office and I have found out information by being nice to them. It sounds like you are correct about her not getting out early for good behavior. Also, before you go to visitation, it pays to call that week, a few days before you go to make sure that they haven't canceled visitation or changed the visitation date and time, as they seem to do both frequently.
