Hi Pat and Welcome to PTO!

I don't have info for you from personal experience....but I did do a search for you.

This search...pulled up everything on "Lewisburg" in the federal forum here on PTO. You can skim through them and see what you can find.

If you don't find what your looking for...please feel free to post something in the Federal Forum.

Glad to have you with us!

Happy New Year!

My boyfriend got sent to Camp Lewisburg last month. It takes about 3 weeks to get approved for visits. The visiting days and hours are:
Friday 5 - 8 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 5 - 8 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
and all hoildays
He can have visits every other weekend. His weekend will depend on the last number of his registration number.
He can call collect or he can pay for it but the time limit is 15 minutes. If you want to talk longer he has to wait 30 minutes before he can call back. I am going for a visit next Sunday. I will let you know any more info i find out.

I am new to PTO and also looking for information on Lewisburg Camp....Are your talking about the one in PA. I am also wondering about Allenwood. My husband was just sentence March 8th and has to "self turn in" March 22nd. We have yet to find out where he will be going but his lawyer mentioned these two federal prisons. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We do have a federal forum....on the very top of the US Regional Area (states). You can find quite a bit of information pertaining to the federal prison system there.

I will paste a link here....its information about the low security in Allenwood, maybe it will be helpful to you.

Feel free to post and ask any questions you have in the federal forum as well.

Glad to have you with us on PTO!
