'They' will not know his release date until Combined Records in Raleigh receives his committment papers and calculates his time - until then it will only show Unaudited for his PRD (Projected Release Date).

Not to make excuses for the DOC but if everyone called to check on their person in prison, there would not be enough time to do the things they are supposed to do.

Once he gets a telephone PIN, I'm sure, he will call you (collect).
Global Tel Link is the servicing telephone company (http://www.gtl.net/) Billing Questions: Including: Paying your inmate telephone bill, blocking guidelines, etc. Billing Inquiry Staff Telephone: 877.650.4249
How Does It Work? AdvancePay™ allows inmates to call your number without the restrictions of standard billing. When an inmate attempts to make a collect call to you and your number cannot accept collect call billing, the AdvancePay™ automated operator will provide you with the option of setting up a prepaid account with a Visa or MasterCard payment of either $25 or $50. If you do so at this time, you will be re-connected to the inmate and the cost of this call will be deducted from your newly established AdvancePay™ account. If you cannot establish an AdvancePay™ account at that time, the inmate will be disconnected and you can call 1-800-483-8314 to establish an AdvancePay™ account at a later time.

My son just left there...it is not that bad of a camp...call and tell them you need to speak to his case manager. You should also be able to go to nc inmate search and pull his name up....that should give you his expected release date...good luck to you!

thanks for the information I have been checking the ncdoc every day to see if they have posted anything yet nothing yet! He was sentenced to 2, 45 day sentences to be ran concurrent he should be out no later than the 19 th of march thats why I was so anxious to find out what his release date was so I knew for sure what day to pick him up! the little bit of information they sent says he can call only twice a month that to me is crazy! He has a fiancee with a baby girl and me they are making him make a choice on who to call Which I fully understand that he should could his Fiancee because of his baby girl that I understand, but I still don't think its fair
