My son will be home on Feb 29, 2004 and I am not the only one waiting . I have been rasing my son's 3 children, 2 boys,
Ben 7 and Kaleb 3 and a daddys girl Novalee who is 2. He has be locked up for almost 8 months and it has been hard on us all , I could not even image what some of you go through for years. My heart goes out to you.

My husband called me earlier this evening to let me know that he got a parole!! His paperwork did not give a date but he's 100% sure it'll be within the next 30 days his homecoming.

well it is Feb 7 and we are down to 22 days.

Feb 8 and 21 days to go........

Feb 9 and we are looking at 20 days left to go................................................

I know the day is almost over but hey I have to do this count down

I can only imagine how excited you are for your son coming home Congratulations. And good luck. My man gets out in July and I wish the days would hurry and fly by, I can't wait for my man to get out. You do have to keep busy and the day will pass faster i try and do that everyday but with a 18 month old son it isnt a problem with the days to go by fast and to keep busy God bless you and your family. jeffs ex wife all we have plan is to have a family get together. One step at a time. I still have one son locked up so we will still have family missing but I get to watch my son play with his kids.

Hey all it is Sat 21 of Feb and we have 6 days and a wake up...
We got to go and see him again today. That is the best feeling in the world to hold your child , and watch him love he's kids. I know it will be better watching it outside those bars.

This time next sunday Ben will be home with us.

Thanks all even though I got one son coming home sunday I still have one locked up and all of us know how we don't feel complete till all of our kids are home with us. But the waiting game of these last few days are so nerve racking, I try to find things to come but my thoughts drift off to Bens home coming . I get teary eye thinking of how happy his kids will be to open their eyes and see their daddy in there bedroom. And to know that he will be here to hold them when they are scare or just to have one of their parents here for them. Sorry to get so deep but when I show the pictures of the home coming you will all see what I mean. Ben is a special daddy.

Awww....you are such a loving mother....thats what the men need in prison is mothers like you that care so much for their kids. It amazes me how many mothers don't care anything about their kids. That post almost brought a tear to my eye. If their were more mothers like you, I believe there wouldn't be as many people in prison. I can tell your a loving grandmother also. God bless you. imissmylove and RaW-Raswifey you all made me cry, thanks so much you made me feel special. I don't look at it in the way you guys do. My kids are my life and there is nothing I would not do for them. I look at this as If I don't show my kids they are loved then how are they going to find love out there in the world and give back true love. Yes, I never understood why or how a parent could walk away from one of their children , we all mistakes and we all need to forgive and give out more love. And let me say that this site is one of the best places to grow. For all of you who have been with me through this , you have a special place in my heart and I hope I can be there for you too.

Oh by the way we only have 58 hours to go.

Well we are down to 31 hours.

Here it is Saturday. we only have 22 hours to go. I have hardly slept. I am trying to stay calm. We have the welcome home daddy sign made. This is going to be the hardest 22 hours of my life. The girl that left him called this morning thinking it was today that he got out. I know I won't be able to sit very still today. But I know I can count on all of you to be here for me.

We are down to 17 hours of waiting

well we have 11 hours to go and I can't stop thinking that I moved in my house in the middle of April and Ben went to jail at the end of april. My son has only be in our home 5 times. Boy this is hard , I feel all of this crazy excitement. Trying to get his kids to keep their room clean. Sh*t I can't begin to wonder what those of you who have your man feel. I want to cry and laugh at the same time. I thank God that for this son the time is over. All I want to see is him walk out on my side of the bars to meet me. I know I have drove you all crazy with my post on this thread. But I hope one day to help you go through the waiting game of your loved one coming home.

It is 5am and I am up getting ready to bring my son home. The day I have wait for is here. Now if I could stop crying long enough to put make. I am suppose to sign into the desk at 6.45am to let them know someone is there to pick up Ben.

Congrats! You and the kids deserve this! The love in your family shines brightly and it'll not only make his transition easier, but it'll keep him home. And thats right where he needs to be. Enjoy the time together... AND the quiet while hes out with the kids. Congrats again sweetie!
