Does anyone know the schedule? What do they do all day? classes, work? Do they get outside time? Exercise?? Do they get to watch any tv? Just would like to know what a normal day it here.

hi tx_mom they have treatment half of the day then they work or go to school the other half my brother is going to be in the vocation class so that will consider his job.

Do you have any idea of what classes they do offer? and where from? Thanks:)

hi tx_mom sorry about the delay this is what i found out during our last visit they have one vocation class its called construction carpentry it last 3 months and upon completion they get 12 college credit hours. they take em off the the unit for this class hopes this helps

I went this past weekend and had a great visit with my son. I was surprised about how nice the place was. Everyone was right the guards went out of there way to be nice. I feel much better after seeing him. He said it is not bad, but he is ready for home of course. He is working in the gardens, had helped plant onion, cabbage and several other things. He enjoys doing it, he was doing some landscaping before he went in, so he is use to being outside. I told him jus to make sure he has a hat this summer, because it is going to be a little hotter there than were he was. Going to try to go back in a couple of weeks.
