I'll be sure to bother you if I think of something specific...is there anyway for me to actually get a copy of one of those?
If I put in a call somewhere or something?
jnv512 08-30-2002, 11:56 AM you have to order it from the publisher, West Law, I ordered it when I worked at a Lawfirm and had it delivered there. I don't know if they'll send it to a private person

jnv512 09-12-2002, 09:59 AM That's awesome Michelle, I'm so happy for you. You've got to put up some pictures either here or at NYIF or both so I know who I'm talking too!
CISCO26 11-26-2002, 10:05 PM jnv512 I WAS JUST WONDERING ABOUT SOMETHING. IF SOMEONE GETS A TICKET IN JAIL FOR A DIRTY URINE HOW LONG COULD THEY SPEND IN THE BOX AND HOW LONG COULD THEY POSSIBLE GET ADDED ON TO THERE SENTENCE.
THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME.
KELLI
jnv512 11-27-2002, 06:31 AM I can tell you without even looking that it is totally up to the prison officials how long he will get in keeplock or SHU. It depends if he's had dirty urines before, other tickets, things like that. It doesn't usually add on time to a sentence but it can affect his parole. I will look up if there's any specific sentencing guidelines but I don't think so.
CISCO26 11-27-2002, 11:25 AM OK THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TRYING FOR ME
YOUR FRIEND

Mrs. Twan 01-21-2003, 10:43 PM I have a question. Are there any regulations for how they have to handle parole, basically interstate parole? Timelines and what happens is what I am looking for. Please let me know. Thanks.
rosepetal 03-10-2003, 07:07 PM Hi Val! I'm interested in the New York State Directives/Rules & Regulations and where I can get a copy. Can I order it from the publisher? I would like to know what it says about visits on scheduled visit days and whether a visit can be denied on a scheduled visit day just because the visitor attended a facility event prior to requesting a visit. I was told denial of a visit was in the NYS Directives and I was also told that denial of a visit for that reason was also a bunch of BS. Therefore, I'm
I'd appreciate hearing from you soon as possible. Thanks:)
jnv512 03-11-2003, 09:09 AM Well I ordered it when I worked at a law firm but you can try to order it yourself. You can get it from West Publishing. They publish all of the legal books
rosepetal 03-11-2003, 02:50 PM Val: Can you tell me what it says about visits as I explained in my post to you yesterday? Also, what do the directives say about board games? I know no electronic games are not allowed but I think they can have board games so long as the dice is removed. I'm getting hassled about that and would appreciate what you can tell me about that and visits.
Thanks
jnv512 03-12-2003, 10:53 AM Unfortunately, after today I won't have internet access for 2 weeks and the book is at home. I'll try to post it after that.

I need the directives relating to Shock, to health issues ( my son has a medical problem, he didn't get screened properly and couldn't complete shock, was given a ticket, and it is being considered a disciplinary removal instead of a medical. He winds up losing his merit time. Anything you could find to help would be greatly appreciated.

starzzmom 03-20-2004, 10:55 PM How about FRP if we're divorced, but have a child together, and he wants to see her? She obviously cannot go alone, she's only 3, and his parents live in Puerto Rico.
Wilson'sWife 04-14-2004, 12:55 PM Val, what does it say about interstate contract agreements and transfers because of hardship? I am in dire need of this info!!!
