Does anybody have any general information about Wasco? It would be greatly appreaciated~:)

At the top of this page or any page, in the light gray area, there's the word "search" click it and plug in the word Wasco and anything posted here at PTO will come up for you to check out. If you don't find answer's you need, ask questions and someone just might know the answer or way's to find them.

I can tell you that the dudes that are there hate it! My buddy got transfered there while waiting for am opening at California Rehabilitation Center in Norco. He wrote and said it is very over crowded. He had a bunk bed in the middle of a large room that was designed to hold about 150 men. But his particular dorm had nearly 400 men in it. There is alot of fighting, and alot of racial politics. He was told that the state could hold him there for a total of 90 days during his wait for a place at CRC, norco. And on the 89th day, he wrote me and said he was going to loose his mind. The next day, he was transfered. My buddy is a very thick, bald headed, Italian, body builder, who gets messed with just because he's huge. The other dudes in there constantly stirred stuff up trying to get him to snap. And let me tell you, when he snaps, people could get hurt. It takes alot to get him to that point though, and the dudes in there were able to go off twice in the 3 months he spent there. So if your guy can keep his cool in all the overcrowding, he will be ok. I suggest writing to him everyday. Even if its just to remind him to stay cool and outta trouble, and of course, that you love him. But if he thinks he's a hard ass....well, my preyers go out to you...be prepared for him picking up some extra time. :pissed: my honey was in wasco for 3 months....not a safe place. Over crowded lots of fighting. He felt he was turning crazy,:ham: . i suggest u visit him write him make him feel he has someone waiting...lots of nutty fruity guys there. I was told he was constantly watchin his back...dangerous trouble makers..:ha: :argh

Does anybody know how to get information on the guidelines thier? Like what can they have and stuff like that? How about sending money? How can I send my man some money?

Man I had no idea its that bad in there. My Boo's in thier right now. I miss him and I just want him home. :(

What do you need to know ? about 5 years ago my hubby was mainlined ther. My son is currently in reception there now and has been for over 2 months and still has not yet seen his counselor. I know you dont want to visit reception wait till he gets were is going if mainlined the visiting is horrendous. I had to change clothes 4 times and they let several people in wearing the same things.
