My husband is in pre-release at Parchman. What will he be doing and when will he be released. i mean I know each person in pre-release gets released at different times but I guess I mean how long is pre-release.

Did you get any info from your husband since this post? Curious to know what the process of pre-release is and if he knows what he will be doing? If you have contact with a 'case worker' you may could find out more specific answers. You should be able to call the prison and ask for the social worker who works his case.

My man is in a pre-release unit in bryan texas, and he just started the group therapy last month. Baby has to be there for 6months he is in group from 6am-4pm. Then from 4pm to 6pm that is his time for self. which he showers then writes me. Then back in group till 7-8. Baby will finish the program 6-12-09 but he release date 7-1-09
