Michael is sooooo sweet! He knew that I had been feeling down since his parole hearing, and that it is Christmas and money is real tight. I got a letter from him today, and enclosed with the letter was a check for $100.00 to get presents for our son. He also said he wanted to send me flowers but he isn't able to at the institution he is in so he very carefully used an ink pen to "cut" out twelve pictures of roses and send them to me! This has really brightened my day! I can't believe that he sent money, he only makes $35.00 a month and no one ever sends him money, he won't take it, so he has been saving his money for quite some time to be able to send money to us! I knew that I loved him but this has really melted my heart. IT IS going to be a great Christmas for us, I truely have an angel of a guy!!!! I just wanted to share my happiness with everyone!! THANX for listening!

How wonderful, Kitty! I'm sure you were so touched and surprised! It means more than a million bucks to you, I know.
Fred went way out for Christmas for me and the girls, too. He sent the girls so many goodies from commissary that he's probably going to do without for a long time himself, plus sending gifts, too. I'm not going to say what gifts right now or he'll know I peeked. LOL But some of them I'm not sure how he managed it.
I feel so bad because I live on a limited income and could only send him a book but the property officer rejected the book, so he's not going to have anything from us. He said that's okay because he has three Christmas gifts in Oregon, but still, I just feel sad. Books are all I can send him, so now I don't know what to do. He sent us two big boxes of gifts---and I mean big boxes, too.
