Have you tried all of the suggestions you were given back in September?

Yes, tell him to speak with his counselor. As long as he's not a level 4 or a lifer, among a few other restrictions.

have any of you ladies had your loved one volunteer to transfer? Did they have to mainline and then ask for the transfer? My husband is in Wasco and asked for an Out of state transfer. His counselor said ok but he has to mainline first then he can be transfered. This makes no sense. He has to leave wasco just to return to wasco and get transfered out. This happen to anyone else???:slap::slap:

Does the counselor just mean that he would mainline to an out of state facility? Because that would be the only thing that would make any sense.

Hi girlies!!!

I wanted to share my experience. My hunny did not voluntarily request an out of state transfer, but I do know that he wasnt an option until he literally mainlined. He did reception and mainlined at North Kern after 7 months of being mainlined he was transferred to Wasco where he was put back into reception or lay over how they call it since he had technically speaking had gone through reception. He was a Wasco for a full month b/4 he was transferred out of state. But once he reached his new facility, he was put on a 2 wk reception/orientation.

So I am not sure why they do this why it is they move guys from one place to another and back to the beginning. I do know that it is not just Wasco who does out of state...some guys get transferred from Ironwood...I cant remember the other one. All I can say is that maybe talking w/the counselor would help some, but they do need to go through classificiation to see which level and which facility would be good for them.

Hang in there girlies!!
