Saturday 28th March

Registration from 8.30 a.m. (Early birds can check in and say "Hello" - staff members will be available)

9.30 a.m. Meet and Greet in reception area (Name tags and conference packs to be distributed)


Main Room

10.00 a.m. Opening Address: discussion of agenda, venue facility information.

10.15 a.m. David Frisk (Fed-X (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/member.php?u=1)), PTO Founder - Welcome Remarks

10.30 a.m. Ray Hill (http://theprisonshow.org/the%20prison%20show_003.htm), Prison Activist and Presenter of the Prison Show (http://www.theprisonshow.org/) on KPFT - Presentation

11.15 a.m. Question and Answer Session with Ray Hill (including questions from members watching on internet)

11.30 a.m. Coffee Break

11.45 a.m. Jonathan Edwards (C.U.R.E. (http://www.curenational.org/) Representative) - "How To Make Change Happen In Our Prisons, a national and international perspective"

12.15 p.m. Q & A session with C.U.R.E.

12.30 p.m. My Story - Karen, a PTO Moderator

1 p.m. Texas Inmate Families Association - Presentation (www.tifa.org (http://www.tifa.org))

2.30 p.m. Michael B Jackson - Author of " How to Do Good After Prison: A Handbook for Successful Reentry"

3.30 p.m. Richard Owen - Prison Calls Online

4 p.m. Coffee break and chance to meet in smaller groups (details discussed on day)

4.45 p.m. Open Forum - Questions, Suggestions and Contributions from members (including online contributions)

5.30 p.m. Closing Remarks, Awards and Thanks

6 p.m. Conference Ends - Time to kick back and enjoy some Texas hospitality!!

From 6 p.m. Staff will be available in the bar, come along and relax with us.

7.30pm - Dinner - waiting on confirmation of venue



On Friday 27th March we will be meeting in The Winery (bar) at the Holiday Inn from 5pm.

On Sunday 29th March we hope to arrange a Sunday Brunch before we all go home. (Still working on this!)

It is in real life. However we will have it live stream for people who cannot afford the trip

MrTideman, you might check your state forums for local/state Get Togethers. We have them in Texas several times a year.... some up by Dallas, and we just had one in Austin. Just members getting together and organizing a time and place.
