help plz i need info about this place! my son has been in the wheeler unit for 3 months and had seen his ipo, then he was moved to clements then right on to holliday. he is only 19 and has never been in trouble before, IM WORRIED SICK for him. why would they put him there? he was 31/2 hours away now he is 10 hours away im scared and angry:angry:. what is going on

Hello, I really don't know much about this unit. My husband just got transfer there this monday. He was at Ft. Stockton 3 hrs away. I did some research and from what I hear is not that bad. Where are you from?

ttjh- It's normal for them to be moved around. There is no rhyme or reason to it all (at least not anything we will every be privy to) so try to relax a little. Keep writing so he knows he didn't get "lost" to you. I promise you THAT is what HE is worried about. Holliday isn't a bad unit. It's a transfer unit and so he probably won't be there for long. Keep an eye on the inmate locator for his next move. Keep us posted and take care of yourself. God bless.

thanks for the replies. well your right they have moved him again this time to cental in sugarland, even farther away.iam from odessa. they seem to be moving him every day. i posted on the central board put there dont seem to many that are on there.i have not wrote him yet because they are moving him so fast, that im not sure he will even get his letters. I know he knows im keeping track of him ,but im sure he is worried anyway.

I can only imagine how frustrating that is. Hopefully he will be able to stay put somewhere soon.
