There was a post about this website on my other group and I had to share it with you ladies. It's completely crazy to me. Basically amounts to prostitution if you ask me but I'm curious as to others opinions. Too bad I couldn't get paid for all the hours I spent in visiting rooms.

yeah I saw this...WHAT LUNACY! dress sexy and talk about "adult subjects" with a prisoner you don't know a thing about except that they paid for your services? Plus they pay the poor fool just for the actual time in the VR- no travel or wait time- hello...somehow I don't think these people have the Idea of the Century here...

I don't understand how they are making $ -- who's covering their expenses? The inmate? I suppose it's like a pen-pal service but in person? The part of how the company is benefitting from this is what I really want to know -- everybody from the phone company to the bus company has figured out how to make $ off of the "indigent" ...

It must be the inmate who pays for it. I wrote to someone once in a prison where this woman on the outside had a great big business selling "used" panties to prisoners (I was surprised there were prisons that allowed them in) as well as sending them explicit photos, smut letters, and doing phone sex. She was making a killing in the states that allowed it. There are people in prison who do spend money on stuff like this. I was told that some prisoners have fairly decent incomes from the outside from family members, wives, a group of women the guys were scamming or whatever. Some just saved up money they'd otherwise spend on commissary. I was even sent some of the photos and the literature this woman has made up---an order form with all this stuff on it.

Wow, that is crazy. Both that site and what toi_ama said. It sounds just like a paid escort, there for the company cause the man is lonely. I can't believe there are actually girls that would want to do this, I understand if a loved one was in and you visited them but to go and visit this person and get paid for it, that's crazy. I understand penpails, but not this.

I saw the web site too....some people will do anything for a buck....and I know there are some lonely dudes inside but who would want to talk to some chick knowing she was just there cause she got paid to be...if the girl is getting 25.00 you know the inmate must be paying more....cause there is the ever present MIDDLE man or woman???? LOL.....

OMG.. now I've heard everything LOL

I suppose not all men in prison are broke.. but my Lord. I'm picturing the poor woman stuggling to support her kids and keep money on her man books. For him to use that money for this nonsense. There has to be a following, or there'd be no need for this web site. <still shaking my head>

ladies i wrote to them an email that i was interested and they wrote back ....

Hello Chrispro4996,

Yes this has worked before. At this time we will only be arranging visits at Green Haven, Wallkill and Fishkill Correctional Facilities.

We do not inquire about our clients marital status nor do we check their visiting list.

Being that our clients pay us for this service, it would not be likely that they would jeopardize your visit by having someone else visit at the same time.

Regards,
CU1Day

i wrote back i said it is dangerous a wife or girlfriend can pop up, why jeopordize the client. i said anyway, keep it at those facilities... it better not come to my husbands facility i would be furious .. there would be a protest... hahah

The "service" I told you all about that was similar to this one was VERY successful for the lady who ran it. She was raking in the money and she had her prices so varied that inmates of all incomes could afford at least a little something, even if only a porn-type picture now and then. The used panties were the higher priced commodity, of course, and I don't know if anyone ever did successfully receive any through a prison mailroom. I didn't ask. She'd send these smut letters in along with "photos" that she probably printed out off porn sites onto photo paper with her computer, passing them off as being from the actual person who wrote the letter. It was pretty sick in many ways, because there wasn't any perversion she couldn't cater to no matter how sickening. It was actually a laugh to sit and look at this list of "goods and services" she printed out to send to potential customers. You know how you laugh when something is so unbelievable that you can't do anything else? That's the kind of laugh I mean. I'm going to remember to ask my cousin and see if he heard of anything like that when he was in prison, now that I've thought of it again.

I was actually sent the packet of stuff she offered----I wish I could remember what I did with it. It's probably long gone by now.

It must be a sad feeling to have to pay somebody to visit you. Porn-n-panties etc- well lonely guys buy that on the outside too do they not. although something tells me toi that when you say EVERY fantasy, there are probably a few I'd rather not even vaguely conceptualize.
I'm sad for any woman who thinks it's a good deal to make $25 an hour sitting in a VR, considering they don't pay travel or waiting time. Hey, in another thread we're talking about having to/being unable to sneak in doctors and therapists, but soft-core hookers are OK? Sheesh, easy to see why THIS system works so well making the world a more moral place...

I am laughing at the part about providing a record of your visit. So, as you are walking out of the visit, do you say to the CO, "Oh, by the way, can I get a receipt?" lol

I just think it's just sad. There are a lot of guys in there who have no one who visits. They never see a kind female face and certainly never get to have a chat. I would imagine that not ALL the conversations are pure smut. I'd bet some are just very lonely men. And even if they are smutty...I don't care. Humans are sexual beings. To expect men to just turn it off for a few decades is nutty. I know it seems creepy from the perspective of our lives out here, but think about it from the perspective of being behind bars for 10 or 20 years. It just doesn't sound so perverted to me. It sounds sad...very sad. Emmy
