I have had hell tryin to get to visit my man. I haven't seen him since we both went in 11/21...i got out thanksgiving day morning...he is to be transfered to state and I need to see him...it is tearing me up...and just one time would make it all so much better. Anyways, here is the scoop...I lost ID during IKE don't have birth cert...etc. So i thought i was screwed...never gonna see him. Well fianlly figured out that i could change my address online and get a new one the only catch is that you have to have the audit # located on the side of your picture...well i didn't have the id but i remembered that my last job made a copy of the id for direct deposit...so yea i called they had it and i got the number...Totally excited!!! Well the next processs uscked even more....I don't have a credit card and i am broke as hell right now...trying to find somebody to either just let you use their card and charge $11 to make your life less miserable is hard as hell...I was beside myself..everytime i thought i was gonna get to do it...bam some excuse or something! Well fianlly his parents called and said don't worry we will take care of it...YES finally ...well i ordered it tonight....damn thing is it is gonna take forever probablly and he is going to state jail were the visits are nill to none...I so wanna see him before he goes there....What i was wonderin is if harris county jail will take the temp paper got and a picture ID (all i got is my high school id though....) So temp DL and pic ID will they accept it? Hell I was just in the a couple weeks ago...they have my finger prints and mug shot...but of course that will not do. ... I just want to see my heart!!! I miss him soooo bad I got to see him :(

My daughter n law is notorious for losing her TDL. She was able to visit at county with her paper license and photo ID. I believe she had a school ID. You might also take the photo copy of your TDL that you referred to along with you.

Good luck and hope you get to visit soon!
