What time you usually head for Yuma Prison and how long you generally stay - For example, if you drive all night and go directly to the prison or if you arrive Friday night and get a room.

What days and hours you usually visit or would like to visit.

Do you travel with children or do you mind children.

Are you a smoker or is it really important to you that your carpool pal NOT smoke?

Congratulations! I know the feeling. I don't know about Dakota, but Cheyenne unit just has their food visits this past weekend and the CO said there would not be any more this year that he was aware of when I called and asked.

You will need to get to my house or at least closer to the west side of Phoenix for me to pick you up. Let me know. It will be me and my daughter going. She sleeps most of the way and then yacks the rest of the way. LOL

I need to find a ride for 1/30/2010 visitation to cheyenne unit-yuma. I am scheduled for a non-contact visit from 10-12. I can share the cost of gas. I can only visit for 4 hours and they wont let me stay for the remaining 4 hours. I wish I could go though, thank you for the offer. If you go another date and only do 4 hours I would love to ride with you and could give you gas money.

Hi All. I'm trying to find someone who would like to ride with me down to the middle of nowhere aka San Luis. My boyfriend is in the Cheyenne unit and only qualifies for the 4 hour visit. He's been there 2 years and I've yet to go see him ( I just moved back from Portland OR).
I'm very apprehensive about going to the Prison Complex..its not my favorite place to be, but I do want to see my guy.
I drive an 08 Honda Accord. It's definately reliable and pretty decent on gas. I smoke cigs but i'm not a chain smoker :)
