Does anyone have any info that will help ex inmates in getting a job, home, help of any kind? I have pen pals that are getting out soon and need some help? One guy has been in since a teen and served 16 years, so he is really starting over and has no family. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest having them go to the Workforce Development center in their city. They should be able to help. Otherwise another alternative is a temp job so they can get something under their belt. Just a couple of suggestions.Hope this helps.

i agree, workforce development would be a good place to start. also, no grey(gray?) ministries is available, depending on what city they are going to. check and see if no grey is available in that city...they help with work and housing until the guys can get on their feet.
