How long does it take to get an approval on an application? I'm in the US and my friend is in Ontario. He is in assessment and I don't think has been pen placed yet. I sent in the application over 8 weeks ago... I'm beginning to wonder what's going on over there? I sent the forms addressed to my friend because he said to do it that way and the fed would take it from the mailroom and process it. Any advice would be so much appreciated :) I'm going crazy waiting...

I'm not sure, ours in BC is supposed to take 3 to 4 weeks but I'm sure everywhere is different.
I would call though, 8 weeks sounds like a long time. Maybe they can at least tell you if they've recieved it or if it's in the process of being processed.
At teh least they might know the average time it takes to go through.
