This was on our local news site...just thought I would share.
A convicted murder who escaped from the state penitentiary at Parchman nearly a month ago has been caught in San Diego.
The Mississippi Department of Corrections says Larry Hentz and his wife, Elizabeth Lacy Hentz, were checking into a hotel when they were recognized by clerk.
The clerk had seen the two in wanted posters and contacted local authorities.
The Hentzs were taken into custody by local authorities.
Larry Hentz was being held in the San Diego jail.
Elizabeth Hentz was arrested and will be charged with aiding and abetting an escape of a felon.
Hentz was serving a life sentence for homicide in Tate County.
He now faces additional charges of escape.
