Many inmates ask their pen pals, friends and family to send them sacred objects such as a medicine pouch and feathers -please be adviced that feather like hawk and eagle just to mention a few can only be issued to inmates enrolled in a fed. rec nation/tribe otherwise it is a fed. offence that might in the worse case scenario hit back on yourself. Make certain before you do such but there are feathers which can be sent like the "fake" bald eagle feather which has become a acceptable substitute. I would as well be alerted when a inmate request money. There are many inmates who take advantage of the Indian people,so walk with caution. Better safe than sorry
