B-Ray gave me this VERY valuable link to convert all those English and American weird temperatures, measures weight etc....

I thought I would stick it there for those of you who are as bad as me at calculating those things. :)

Convertunit.com (http://www.convertunit.com/) is another one...

Hey, Phil, what do you mean, 'weird' English weights, measures and temperatures??????? We have exactly the same as the rest of Europe, it's the Americans who have it wrong!!!

People still think the old 'imperial' way but we really are metric now, and it's against the law to show prices etc. in pounds and ounces. We still have to convert from miles to kilometers but it shouldn't be too long. Everything else is the same as Europe so it's a lot easier. I'm one of those who would like to see the Euro as well so hopefuly we'll get that soon.

If you come over to London I have a spare bedroom, as long as you wouldn't mind my two dogs.

Just let me know when you want to come. I could meet you at Waterloo and bring you out here. I live on the outskirts of London but the underground goes straight into town. My two new dogs are lovely and get along with everyone.
