Today is a day that you are weighing on me so heavily. I guess it's because of the beautiful dream I had about you last night. Thanks for coming to visit me in the dream.

Menia i have read your posts many times, but not really taken the time to stop and express my sorrow for your loss. For that i apologize. I hope as the days pass you will find comfort in the many memories you have and hold. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. You and Keith are in my thoughts and prayers.

"The Master's Bouquet"
"Precious is the sight of the LORD is the death if his saints."
(Psalm 116:15)
It is hard to let go of a loved one in death. We see the empty place where they used to be. Their voice that we loved to hear-is silent. There are things we want to tell them; but we can't.
We see only the bleak side of death. We can't see the eternal. We can't hear them laugh, so we want to cry. We can't find them anywhere. To us they are gone and we miss them.
Jesus, on the other hand, sees the bright side of death. He sees their eternal happiness - their glory - the rewards- the rest their eternal presence with Him. He sees that they are suffering no more. He sees that they are home - safe forever.
Have you ever studied a beautiful bouquet made by the hands of a skilled professional? They choose different colors, different sizes, some in full bloom, some mere buds. Each has their own characteristics, their own scent, their own shape. Some are delicate while others are strong and bold!
When the skillful eye of the designer places them in just the right place, they compliment each other and they become beautiful together.
Jesus is working on a masterpiece in heaven. Before He created the world, He carefully designed us in our mother's womb. He allotted us the right amount of days on this earth, to place us in the right place in His heavenly bouquet.
He knows exactly when to call each of us home. He sees how much we're suffering. He feels our deepest pain. He sees the tired, weary faces of the elderly, the delicate, tender frames of the very young, the tears and struggles to the teens and young adults, and the labors and accomplishments of those in their prime.
When it's time, He lovingly reaches down, plucks us from our earthly spot, and tenderly places us into His glorious heavenly bouquet. That's why it is precious in His sight! No more hardships, stress, tears, loneliness, pain, or suffering in this world.
"Now we see through a glass, darkly.....(I Corinthians 13:12) O, if we just had eternal vision for a moment, to see the excitement, the glory, the happiness, the peace, and the joy in the presence of the Master!!! Then we would understand "sorrow not, even as others who have no hope." (I Thess. 4:13b) We would rejoice at the beauty of the Master's bouquet!
