Hey guys! I am new to prison talk.I recently heard that my friend Alex got arrested....AFTER TWO MONTHS!@!!!! I hear he just got transferred over to King Penn,in Kingston,Ontario.I have no idea how to contact him or what.Geez,this is soooo complicated.

hi there and welcome to pto. sorry i don't know the procedure over there. I think it would be easy if he called you so he can get your info to put you on a visiting list. If you can call the jail and ask them what you have to do to see your friend. I hope this helps.

baby boo, i don't know the prodecures for the prisons in Canada either, BUT, if you know his full name and at least his D.O.B the letter should arrive to him. I have done this before and has worked. Hey, anything is worth a try don't you think??

Hey girl, u know you could ask his parents and maybe they know something. WIthin 2 months he should have atleast gotten the chance to make a phone call, especially if he is in county jail. If you know his whole first name and birthday then you can call the system and ask them to locate an inmate.

No you can't call canadian jails and find out info they wont even tell you if he is at that insititution. If he is kingston , I can help you as I go to kingston penn once a month.you can wirte to him with just his first and last name at:

And for him to call you, they have to have yoru phone number approved by there PO(parole officer) , the Po will call you and verify it is okay for him to call you collect.

As for visiting, you need him to send you a visiting form to fill out, you send it back with 2 recent photos of yourself and you wait for a month or so for them to get a background check on you and all theat good stuff and they will send you a letter stating that you are on his list and you can visit!!
