If your loved one is presently in the Michigan system and moving around here is a place where you can call and get accurate information.
Here is the phone number to the MDOC Records in Lansing, MI 1-517-373-0284 just call it and have the name and MDOC# and they will tell you where your loved one is located. Oh I want to give Deb credit for posting it in a response to my introduction post and to offer a huge thank you to her for posting it. It was great to call and get right through to someone who had the information I wanted.
When moving around from one place to another such has been my case lately, this is the most efficient way to find out where my son in. (He has not yet made it to the internet data base)...
