Does anyone know how to start writing back and forth to inmates? I find myself bored and I know they are bored so it seems valid..... Thanks in advance.

We have a very large Pen Pal forum here on PTO with literally hundreds of inmates hoping to get mail. It is divided in groups of states, here is the section that includes Alabama:

I didn't see any offhand from Tutwiler in there, but you never know when there may be one.

Does Tutwiler for women have pen pals? My aunt is there and I can not find a forum for that prison. Deb

I'm sure there are women at Tutwiler who would like some pen pals, but if there aren't any listed in the section of PTO's Pen Pal Forums that includes Alabama, then we don't have any listed here.

I'm sure your aunt could probably find plenty of women for you to write to there if you are interested.

You are actually in the Tutwiler forum on PTO right now - there are no separate forums for facilities for pen pals in the Pen Pal Forums on PTO - those are all divided alphabetically by groups of states.
