Hi Everyone my name if Kelli I live in Maine with my 3 beautiful children. The man I love is in Prison and I am really glad to know there are places like this I can come to and talk. My family and friends dont understand what I am going threw and show no support what so ever. I look forward to talking with all of you:)

I was born and raised in Maine. In the town of Poland. My whole family still lives there and i visit now and then .
I was just home last July.
Course i had to get outta there as Small town Maine was no place for a young gay boy trying to find a life. I've been in California 23 years now and starting to get tired of it here too.
Just thought i'd say hi and let you know i was from Maine.
If it makes you feel any better...i've read Maine has one of the best prison systems in the country. i've been reading about the new one just built that has a salad bar, gym, and weight room, and a good education dept.....none of those frills out here where i did time.

Nice to talk to someone from maine, ive been threw Poland, It looks like a nice place, im from Old Orchard Beach. From what I understand The Maine State Prison itself is not that bad. Its the Super max where they send the guys for breaking the smallest rule, and, also that is where they house the mentally ill inmates and also the charles manson wannabe's..... They definetely should come up with a solution so there is some hope for rehabilatation. My bf Matt is in Minimum Sec Population, but was recently sent to SuperMax for a 30 day segragation for throwing a chair, supposively. And where he is now is not even suitable for an animal let alone a human being. Oh well, hopefully someday they find the finances and heart to change the system:) Nice to meet you.
