my son can not have phone calls for 3 years from anyone, including his attorneys. he is not allowed to even make calls. i have been his support system for years and now i just dont know what to do. can anyone out there give me some advice? we have no money and every one wants retains fee. thank you. dee

Im sorry that I dont have any answers for you that can help you getting your phonecalls back.
But I saw you are from Oregon and thats where my dear friend is too. He in Ontario - Where is your son from?

I cant get calls either so I write him a lot of letters - believe me - if your son cant get calls he sure needs the letters. He needs to know that someone is thinking of him...

I send you a comforting hug and prayers that you will be able to call him again soon.

actually, i don't know of any state where one can call INTO a prison. generally, inmates are allowed to call out (if they have that privilege) but no incoming calls to an inmate are permitted. it is NOT illegal to either forbid incoming or outgoing calls.....

hi dee, it's great to see someone else here from oregon. please tell me, where is your son incarcerated? i don't know of anyone in oregon prisons who can RECEIVE calls, (unless perhaps in some of the minimum security ones but i don't know), feel free to email me and share if you like. welcom to pto
