OUT OF DEPT. CUSTODY BY COURT ORDER
I have seen this pop up on several profiles at my boi's prison over the past 2 weeks. What is usually the reason for this? Just curious really, thanks.

Well, it means that probably they are back in Court in another County. Probably in a County Jail until Court. A friend of mine is at Jackson Work Camp and now transferred to Osceola County Jail awaiting the sentence of another charge. His says the same thing.
Hope this help
Kris
Yes, that's what it means. Sometimes they have a court hearing, so they are sent to the county in which the trial was Cis responsible for them, not the State. This means there may be different rules for visiting and for what you can send in the mail. For example, usually you cannot send SASE's to the jails.
