I live in the IE and my life partner is in Avenal anyone going my way

I do not know where the IE is??? My husband is at Avenal too so I share your frustration. They are currently lockdown due to an escape. They think the guy that escaped is still within the institution.

I also heard that they were on lockdown as well, due to an escape. My bf is also in Avenal, and I spoke with him on Saturday and he said that this person was found within the institution. I'm going to see him this weekend, but he told me to call a day before, just to make sure everything is okay'd. He said that they were not allowed to use the phones, up until he called me on Saturday. I'm more relaxed now that I spoke to him =)

As of 12/9, the inmate still has not been found. Nor has it been determined if he is still on the grounds. Although, they do suspect he is.

I did find a very small article in the Fresno Bee last week. I posted it in the "News and Events" forum.http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37226

You can still make visiting appointments. However, the modified program (NO VISITS) may be in effect for awhile.

Let's hope it will end soon!


Where is IE?

My friend called me on Sunday and said that the person still has not been found. Sunday was his first chance to call. He said phone calls was all they had for right now. I live in the IE. He wants me to visit him but I have my reason for not, long story. Avenal is a long way i know.
