Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that James got out of the hole
yesterday. He called and talked to my daughter. She told me that he
has to have some kind of a hearing or something. She really didn't
understand what he was trying to tell her, so I guess I will just
have to wait and find out. Thanks for eveyones support. It is
greatly appreciated.

When there's a disciplinary report written up ("DR"), they have a little hearing called DR court to give the inmates, COs, etc an opportunity to say what happened & then they hand out any punishments. I think pretty much any instance of physical altercation they have a DR court. Just because he's got one, doesn't mean he'll get punishment. It's for the other guy too. Then the outcome of the hearing will go in their files. He was defending himself, so he shouldn't get any discipline, like time in the hole or losing priviliges. (It's not like "real world" court & charges).
